Ever worked with clay?
Or wished you could? Now’s the time to get your hands dirty! Working in stoneware clay, we’re going to use coils and slabs to make a container with a lid (or not) or a teapot.
For four Monday evenings in the Fellowship Hall we’ll gather and learn techniques for working with clay. Our creations will be fired, then we will glaze them and have the final firing. Feel Free to invite friends!
Ages: Adult to 14 (teens w/an adult please)
Cost: $20 for clay, glaze and firings (this depends on the size, more clay and glaze will
be a little bit more). This is based solely on costs. (If you choose not to use provided glazes,
cost will be a bit less.)
Dates: April 24, May 1, 8, 22 (notice – no class on May 15)
Time: 6:30 to 9:00 pm (approximate end time)
RSVPs: IMPORTANT so we have enough supplies. RSVP by April 16.

Clay Days will be led by Cynthia Speller, North’s Minister of the Sacred Story. Cynthia
has been working in clay for almost 30 years and looks forward to helping folks stretch
themselves in learning new things and/or reconnecting with something they’ve enjoyed in the
past.
