The Concert for Children at the Border

July 1st, 3pm-5pm
Music that makes a difference – top Columbus songwriters present The Concert for Children at the Border. The event, hosted by North Congregational Church, is raising funds for Refugee and Immigrant Center for Education and Legal Services (RAICES), providing legal counsel for children incarcerated by Homeland Security on the border with Mexico.
Among the scheduled performers are:

The concert will also include an address from child psychologist Pam Warrick, Ph.D., “The Impact of Parent-Child Separation on Child Development.”
Members of North Church join hearts and voices in our community and country who have expressed anger and shock at the federal administration’s policy that separated refugee children and parents at the border.
We invite you to join us in a time of spirited music and honest telling, in a place that is welcoming of everyone of goodwill, in a gathering of shared concern and persistent hope. Come to listen, or come to talk, or come to pray, or come to know you are part of the great humanity that will work to restore our nation.
No ticket required. $20 donation requested.
Can’t attend? You can still donate! Click here, and scroll down the RAICES page, or send a check made out to
