Week 2: Conversations about End of Life: Ethical Issues and Practical Solutions

Wednesday, July 18, 7:00-9:00 p.m.
Last week, nearly thirty of us gathered in the Fellowship Hall (including a few folks from the community) for the first session of our seminar, “Conversations about End of Life: Ethical Issues and Practical Solutions.” OhioHealth medical ethicist Corey Perry and our own Leslie Kern, Dawn Leach and Jean Feeney led us in a very engaging program that included helpful new information, insightful illustrations, spiritual reflection and a time for comments and questions.
We do hope that you will be able to join us for our second session tomorrow evening, Wednesday, July 18, 7:00-9:00 p.m. Our Caring Ministry team has planned this three-session seminar in such a way that it will be beneficial no matter how many sessions you are able to attend. Our program tomorrow evening will take an in depth look at the legal documents that will ensure that our decisions about our own end of life care will be honored and not become a burden for our loved ones.
Refreshments will be provided — and this program is free. If you need more information or have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact the office.
Please join us — and bring your family, friends and neighbors — all are welcome!
