Blue Christmas at North Church provides an opportunity for people to hear not just about the baby in the manger, but about the God of love who comes to us in the mess and pain we know in our own everyday lives and the lives of those around us. The idea behind the Blue Christmas is to provide a quiet, contemplative service as an alternative to the more traditional gatherings to care for those who are sad or struggling while many around them are caught up in celebrating the holiday. Join us this holy day.
