Reverend Johnson joins Just North UCC as our interim pastor starting Wednesday 1/20/2021!
As the pastor of North Congregational United Church of Christ “Just North” Pastor Guy will be invited to sit on the childcare board as a non-voting spiritual advisor. He has expressed a strong interest in the well-being and safety of the children as a primary concern in his role as church leader.
Rev. Johnson holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Dominican University, Rosary College of Arts and Sciences in River Forest, IL, and a Master of Divinity Degree from the Lancaster Theological Seminary in Lancaster, PA. He was ordained at the Grace United Church of Christ on June 24, 2017.
Guy most recently served as the interim pastor of the Glade United Church of Christ in Walkersville, MD. He has also served the church on the local, conference, and national level. Before undertaking his pastoral career, he spent a more than two decades working in both public service and for several Fortune 500 Companies.
His most important title, however, is as Bob Davis’ husband and personal servant to Poppins Johnson Davis, a 22-pound All-American Dog.
