“It is a comfort to me to know that when I go to college or move away, no matter what I face in life, I can always come back to North Church and people will love me, accept me and treat me right.”
Ione Green-Lauber, Sunday Journeys Participant
Time with the Children
Our Christian Education leaders invite children for story time and reflection on the values in today’s readings before the sermon.
Nursery
Although childcare is not available in the nursery at this time, the nursery is open for parents to attend to their children’s needs. We welcome all children to join in our regular worship services.
Sunday Journeys
Sunday Journeys has resumed. Students would normally be divided into age groups, where they participate in age-appropriate spiritual activities.
Younger school-age students would normally participate in Godly Play to learn about Bible stories and how they relate to our lives today.
Middle school students would normally watch and discuss SparkHouse Re:Form videos, which are brief and comical, but delve into the challenging issues of spirituality in a modern world.
High school students would normally cooperatively lead their Sunday youth experience together with their facilitators. They would normally test and assert their individual spiritualities while celebrating their communion and diversity.
